MARCH 2025 • WINTER FAIR • THE BRANDON SUN

The exhibition president detailed a return of favourites such as beavertail desserts, chip trucks, mini donuts, pizza, pretzels, poutine, cotton candy, freeze dried foods, nachos and an alcohol bar. And there may be a few new surprises too. Every year, the RMWF also draws renoun for its children’s entertainment, with several acts taking place throughout the week all day long. This year, there are a few new acts worth pointing out. Swain told the Sun the organizers decid- ed to aim for new dog show features to keep the experience fresh for audience members, and ‘Canine circus’ is one of the top-of-mind shows this year in terms of brand new enter- tainment. Races and obstacle courses will continue to be a mainstay with the dog show, however the new show will be themed around a circus atmosphere using props, decorations and costumes. Dogs-do-magic has been added for enter- tainment this year, where a magician will per- form her act accompanied by her canine com- panions.
